The alumni association will be holding
a fundraiser at Abblebees on 9
December from 4:00pmto 9:00pm.
The purpose and objectives of the BCPAAA are to
continuously present and promote a positive image of
law enforcement (Burleson Police Department), their
constitutionally mandated functions; and to promote
public awareness by serving as ambassadors in
supporting and assisting the Burleson Police
Department when requested.

Who We Are
We are Ambassadors of the Burleson Police Department,
dedicated to continuing the law enforcement education to BCPA
graduates ,supporting our men & women in blue, and serving
our community when called upon. We are an unofficial public
relations group supporting community based policing programs
What We Do
- Aid in the recruitment of BCPA participants
- Support the Burleson PD training of BCPA participants
- Provide another communication channel between the
Burleson PD and the community
- Promote community involvement in supporting the
Burleson Police Department
- Advise and research training materials & topics for the
BCPA
- Spearhead fund raising projects such as car shows.
These projects provide the Burleson PD with items not
budgeted and/or items needed to aid in keeping our
Police Officers safe.

Richard Lamar (above) was elected as the
BCPAAA President.
Betty Offutt was elected as Treasurer.
Gay Null was elected as Sargent of Arms.
The BCPAAA 2008 Christmas Party will be held at Logans
Roadhouse on December 11th at 6:30pm. This year we
will not be exchanging presents. Instead, we are donating
presents to the Heart for the Kids program.

Fundrasing at the Burleson Parade December 6 Event

BCPAAA had another successful fund raising
event. Our organization put in a full day's work,
serving hot-dogs and coffee which netted a total
of $470.68. Special thanks to Richard Lamar,
Becky Stinger and all those that helped in the
fund raising event.
